C- Shape Sofa
Sectional C-Shape Sofa
Origin :
– Origin of this kind of sofa seating can be related to seating we see in Middle Eastern Region – where in long rows of seating against the wall of the rooms is done – known as MAJALIS in Arab world. Here the seating is just 4-5” above the floor, so one is sitting with legs folded or extended.
– This would have inspired someone in the western world, to incorporate this row seating in Regular Sofa seating and thus developing a new concept of SECTIONAL SOFA SEATING.
– Instead of having the seating against the wall, standalone sections of sofa were developed – they were further customized as per the room design –which could be ARC Shape, U Shape and most popular L shape.
